Seasonless Clothing
One of the best way to save money is  to opt for clothing you can wear year-round. The biggest determining factor for this is fabric. Although natural fibers fare best in temperature extremes – hot or cold – jersey and other knits work just fine for most seasons. Try this and save money. Accessorize
This is one of the best money saving tip: You can change the whole look of an outfit or piece of clothing just by adding different accessories. The accessories will give you multiple looks for same piece of clothing, which saves money. Some accessories — like a bangle bracelet or a distinctive necklace — can even work with most of your outfits, and eliminating the need for a closetful of accessories. Most of the accessories are available for less, and help save money on women’s clothing.

Mix and Match
Another money saving tip on clothes is to purchase clothing in colors and styles that can be mixed and matched with other items in your closet. For example: A pair of gray slacks can be worn with different jackets, blouses or shirts. Try to stay with the basic colors of black, gray, navy, brown. You can always add color with blouses/shirts and scarves/ties. These cost less and can expand a small wardrobe of pants/skirts/jackets exponentially. This will give you more variety and save money on women’s clothing.

Buy dual-purpose clothing
Buy clothes that can be worn from office to the occasional or rare cocktail party or semi-formal affair. These are far more practical than trying to dress for every occasion. This way, you can buy one expensive piece of dress that you can wear at multiple occasions, and don’t have to buy  discount women’s clothes. Buy wash-and-wear
Dry cleaning women’s clothes costs more than men, and it makes a huge impact on your wardrobe budget. Although some clothing like evening dresses and suits require professional dry cleaning, many items can be hand washed with success. Whenever possible buy wash-and-wear clothing or good woolens that can be worn many times before dry cleaning. That would save you tons of money.

Avoid impulse buying
If you are looking for something in particular, don’t be lured by everything else that gets in the way. If you don’t find what you need, it’s better to go home without anything than to buy something you’ll never use. Don’t purchase clothing just because it is cheap or on sale. Only buy a clothing item if you know you or a family member will actually wear it, otherwise this is money wasted, not saved.

Buy on sale
Clothing is always on sale nowadays. With all the sales going on throughout the year, you should never have to buy anything that isn’t on sale. Department stores are usually the best places to find discount clothing because they have the most things to get rid of.

High price doesn’t always mean quality
The Prime example of a clothing item that can cost under $10 to as much as $50 for a designer brand is a T-shirt. Better quality T-shirts can be found at places like J C Penney, Sears or Target.

Buck the trend
To save a lot of your hard earned money always stay away from trendy fashions. Their life is usually very short. Basic lines in clothing are eternal. Never buy anything just because everyone else is wearing it.

Don’t be Tempted by Store Layout
After entering a store, do not look at the clothes in the front by the door. These are the clothes the store is trying to sell the most and they usually cost a lot. If you want to save some money and buy some really cheap clothing, head for the back of the store and you will find the clearance racks. Always shop the clearance racks before you look at anything else in the store.

Shop on Internet
The last place to find discount clothing would be the internet. Internet shopping is fun because you can shop from the comfort of your home and won’t feel rushed or get caught up emotionally into buying something you don’t need. For discount clothing check sites like Overstock.com or Burlington Coat Factory for some great deals. You can also go to your favorite retailer and check out their online specials and closeouts.
