Priceline is a fantastic website. It provides the feature of Name Your Own Price, which essentially means that you can put your own price, and see if some Priceline hotel is available at that price point. This makes Priceline one of the best website for hotel deals, and offers the lowest price on hotel bookings. I always use Priceline bidding to book discount hotels.

However, one big limitation that Priceline has imposed is that you can bid for a hotel just once a day for the same location, date, and star rating. So, if your initial bid is not accepted, you have to wait for 24 hours before you can bid again on the same itinerary. This sometimes becomes a big problem. There are a few ways to get around this limitation, so that you can bid again on Priceline on the same day, without waiting for 24 hours. Here are some tips to beat Priceline, and submit Priceline bids multiple times on the same day.

The first tip is really simple. Priceline does not lets you bid again on the same itinerary for a hotel booking from the same “Account”. So, if there are multiple people going on trip with you, you can ask someone else to bid on the same itinerary. That would be counted as a new bid from a completely different user, and would enable you to bid again.

The second tip is a bit tricky. In Priceline, if you have to bid again on the same itinerary one the same day, you have to add some other zone also to the area that you have chosen for your hotel. However, other areas might not be at a location of your liking, and that was the reason you did not pick those again in first place. But there is a way to use this feature to your advantage. Let’s say you had originally done Priceline bidding on an area A. Now, try to find another area B in the same city which does not have any 4-star hotel. This is easy to do. Just start a fresh reservation, select an area, and then select only 4-star hotel. Priceline would tell you whether there is any 4-star or above no one deals like we do!hotels in that area or not. Make a list of all such areas which do not have a 4-star hotel. A word of caution here: make there that those areas do not have a resort either. It is sometimes denoted by Palm trees on the map. Otherwise, Priceline might upgrade you to a resort in that area. Now, that you have made such a list, go back to your original itinerary and add one such area to your original area. Remember to increase your bid price as well, otherwise the offer will be again declined. In this way, you get multiple opportunities to use Priceline bidding on the same day for the same itinerary.
