    I was looking around the web for some cheap version of Microsoft Office, and then I came across this article. I downloaded Open Office, and it works great. In Fact, I like it more than Microsoft Office. Thanks for writing this article. This did save few bucks for me.

    good but not up to par to MS Office. I still think MS Office is a better value and will happily pay $100 for the features it offers.

    @Alexg: Thanks for leaving comment.I might not completely agree that it is not up to par to MS Office. That was definitely the case a few versions back. But with ver 3.0, they have just unleashed a hell of a better software. They have all the features that I always wished were present in MS Office. The biggest reason for their huge growth is its Open Source nature. They literally have thousands of free lance programmers working on it around the world, and that is why they are able to churn around such a fantastic product, keeping needs of all in mind. I would advise you download the latest copy, and take it for a spin, and you will be happily surprised.
